Under the increasing
demands from the US Education Department for greater accountability
in higher education, accrediting agencies, governing
boards , and state legislatures
are mandating the implementation of comprehensive faculty evaluation
systems to ensure the highest quality educational experience for
students. These mandates often give colleges and universities little
time to research, design, develop and implement a
valid and reliable
faculty evaluation system that is both fair
and practical . This workshop provides
a proven, research-based, cost-effective
procedure for building such faculty evaluation systems that both
reflect, and respond to, the unique characteristics
and mission of the educational
institution.

the best workshop I've attended in fourteen years!"
